Joining the South Carroll Swim Club is faster than ever. SCSC is accepting applications for immediate membership. Simply complete the Membership Application form

Joining the South Carroll Swim Club is a four-step process:

• Complete a Membership Application
• OR Join the waitlist (when applicable)
• Purchase a bond
• Pay the initiation fee
• Pay your dues

Membership Application

1. Complete the Membership Application form.
2. Mail the application form and check to:

Join the Waitlist

The Club sometimes has a waitlist for prospective members. As current members decide to relinquish their membership bonds, these bonds are offered to the next family on the waiting list. When there is a waitlist, you may view the current waitlist online at any time. There is a nonrefundable $50 fee for adding your name to the waitlist. In order to be elligable for August Privileges, you must be on the waitlist.

To join the waitlist:

1. Complete the Waitlist Application form.
2. Write a check for $50 payable to South Carroll Swim Club for the nonrefundable waitlist fee.
3. Mail the application form and check to:

Note: Anyone on the waitlist is eligible for August Privileges, through which prospective members may pay to use the pool from August 1 through the end of the season..

Pay the Initiation Fee

With the approval of the 2005-2006 operating budget, club membership has implemented a $150 initiation fee for each new member (family). This fee is a one time administrative fee for new members only. The $150 fee is payable along with the bond fee at the time a new membership is offered.

Purchase a Bond

The current price for SCSC membership bonds is $850. When current SCSC members move or decide to relinquish their membership bonds, these bonds are offered to the next applicant or family on the waiting list. You will be contacted by the SCSC Membership Coordinator when a bond is available. The process for purchasing the bond is as follows:

1. SCSC membership notifies you in writing that a bond is available.
2. If the offer comes in the off-season (Sept 1 - April 30), then you have 15 days to submit a buy/no buy decision and another 30 days to submit the entire bond fee (total of 45 days to pay from time of notification).
3. If the offer comes during swim season (May 1 - August 31), , then you have 7 days to submit a buy/no buy decision and another 14 days to submit the entire bond fee (total of 21 days to pay from time of notification).
4. If you do not submit the funds within the appropriate timeframe, then your name is removed from the waitlist (i.e., there is no "move me to the bottom of the list" option). Should you wish to reapply to the Club and be reinstated on the waitlist, you will be required to pay the non-refundable application fee again.

Note: Bonds may not be purchased in installments; you must pay the entire fee at once.

Pay Your Dues

Each SCSC member pays annual membership dues to help run and maintain the facility for the season. For the 2011 swim season, membership dues are $535 and must be postmarked no later than April 1, 2011. After April 1, 2011, a late fee of 10% will be assessed MONTHLY until dues are paid. NO EXCEPTIONS.
